On the left is the Comet 46P/Wirtanen and on the right is Pleiades - my favorite cluster captured with my Canon T3i with a 50 mm lens. I may try to do this again tonight when they are closer for our vantage point. Ideally it would be great to get this on 12/16 with a 65 mm telescope or 200 mm lens. I have neither and it supposed to be cloudy here but I am sure other people are already on this. I could not see it just looking up but I did manage to see it with my binoculars where it appeared as a large dim diffuse ball. (30 seconds, f/2.8, ISO 1600).
