Description

6000 light years away lies an incredibly beautiful, yet violent region of space. A dying star, surrounded by the cyan gas in the picture, brilliantly illuminates a cloud of interstellar material with its radiation. Near the upper right of the image, some of the interstellar material takes the form of a bow shock because it's being blasted away from what's thought to be a black hole.

Description: Tweaked the colors a bit to give the nebula a more "fiery" appearance and flipped the image to make it look more natural.
