Description

Taken from a dark sky location in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona, about 13 miles from the nearest town and some 50 miles from Phoenix. The tracker itself had more than adequate PE accuracy to image at this plate scale for 2 minute subs but a camera tripod and ball head has way too much flex to be robust for this application at this plate scale. I could only image on one of the two days I attempted this, and lost about 7 subs to minor wind gusts.
