The year 2018 was not friendly for photographing the planet in the northern hemisphere. The planets were low above the horizon and even the opposition of Mars in August did not provide spectacular photographs. In my portfolio, I placed a new photo of Saturn with a visible C-ring and Encke gap, and a Venus photo taken with the Astronomik ProPlanet 742 and Baader UV infrared filter. The colors are mapped to the visual appearance of the planet.
Full house! At 2.03.2019 Mercury was included to my planets portfolio!
