Description

Hundreds of thousands of stars form the Great Globular Cluster in the Hercules constellation, one of the most famous clusters in the night sky.   Also known as M13, stars in this cluster are so densely packed that they often collide, forming new stars, called "blue stragglers".

Shot with low gain and short exposures in an attempt to preserve the natural star color.
