Description

As I have said before, when it comes to imaging I will try to take every opportunity, because, as I have also said before, why do I get clear, or clearer skies, when it nears a full moon, or actually when it is full moon? I have no idea. Hence this image... With the wind low last night and with a beautiful moonlit sky, I thought I would have a go at M109 which was the best galaxy for me to image with my RC f8 scope, out of the options, bearing in mind where the moon was positioned in the sky. Due to its huge light polluting effect, it took me 175 subs at 2 minutes each, to get just about enough signal to process this image with reasonable detail. Hoping you all like it, and the chances are I will be doing it all again tonight, because it will be clear until midnight! I hope to post the remaining Rasa images from the other night soon. Take care everyone, and thanks.
