Description

Tadpole – nebula

The final planned picture of 2018 was the Ic410, Tadpole – nebula. The weather conditions in december were not ideal in Hungarym so it was a real challenge to collect the 20-22 hours of exposition. I captured the Tadpole with Hubble – palette method. This picture was made with special filters. The main parts of this method are the narrowband photographic filters. The ionizing radiation of Hydrogen, Oxygen and Sulphur can be captured with h-alfa-hydrogen, oxygen and SII – sulphur filters. With this technique you can make more detailed and contrasted pictures of an object. It was really rewarding to see how the different details unfolded during developing the picture.
