Description

This image is the sum of 438 60 secs unguided subs taken during the night of the 4th of September 2022 with a Newton Orion USA 250 F 3.9 telescope, a QHY268M camera, an Astronomik 12nm HA filter on top of an Ioptron CEM60EC. 3 flats were used. No darks.
Aquisition, stacking and processing done with Astroart 8.
Image looks a little bit noisy. But during the night there were several passing by high clouds that increased the noise in the image. There are also vertical bands that never happened in previous images taken with this setup. Hot weather didn't help as well.

The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy 2.73 million light-years (ly) from Earth in the constellation Triangulum. It is catalogued as Messier 33 or NGC (New General Catalogue) 598. With the D25 isophotal diameter of 18.74 kiloparsecs (61,100 light-years), the Triangulum Galaxy is the third-largest member of the Local Group of galaxies, behind the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way. It is one of the most distant permanent objects that can be viewed with the naked eye.

Description: added color information from 184 120 secs unguided subs taken during the same night with a Celestron C5 + F 6.3 reducer and a modded Nikon d5600 + Tecnosky CLS filter. Rotation between 2 cameras is not perfect so I had to crop part of the image
