222 120 secs unguided subs taken on the night of the 12th of August 2021 from my home terrace, with a Canon 70-200 F4 (100 FL), an Asi 533, an Ioptron Smart EQ and a Optolong L-Extreme filter - no guiding and no darks and flat. Stacking with DSS and a small processing (gradient removal and jpg optimization) done with Astroart. Image is almost unprocessed.

The Sadr Region (also known as IC 1318 or the Gamma Cygni Nebula) is the diffuse emission nebula surrounding Sadr (γ Cygni) at the center of Cygnus's cross. The Sadr Region is one of the surrounding nebulous regions; others include the Butterfly Nebula and the Crescent Nebula. It contains many dark nebulae in addition to the emission diffuse nebulae.

Sadr itself has approximately a magnitude of 2.2. The nebulous regions around the region are also fairly bright. (Wikipedia)

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
