Description

This is the first SHO image I shot using RGB Stars. I've seen a number of processes where people described adding RGB stars to SHO images. I didn't do anything special other than combining the RGB channels, extracting the stars and adding them to the starless SHO image. I definitely like the added color of the RGB stars.

On another note, I had to toss a number of the RGB star subs because of focus issues. I typically use the multi-star FWHM auto focus routine in Sharpcap. As of late, I've been having an issue with it not working. It will run through the focus routine and I notice the starting point will jump and when it tells me the focus is complete, I can see the stars are small doughnuts. I've realized I need to pay close attention when I run the focus routine. I'm wondering if anyone else has similar issues with Sharpcap.
