Description

Located on the southern western region of the moon is the crater Schiller. It is thought to be the fusion of two craters and is elongated more because of its position near the moon's limb. Above this is the crater Hainzel, which is actually part of three overlapping craters. In shadow on the left of the image is the larger crater called Schickard.
