Description

Made universally famous by the Hubble Space Telescope the Eagle nebula or Star Queen nebula was the first narrowband color mapped image to come from the HST. Almost 27 years later here on earth we can now artistically design our own mapping colors and present unique artistic versions. It's truly amazing how far we've come photographically in the past 10 years. I'm looking forward to the next 10! We don't even really know now that the pillars still exist. Those "pillars" by the way stretch about 4 light years into space. Evidence of a supernova blast has probably already destroyed the pillars, but if you're around in the next 1000 years or so you'll be treated to a whole new landscape.
