Description

First image of the M78 & Barnard's Loop. With no moon, we had very dark skies (bortle 2 here) around 02h30 this morning (26/1/2020).

(M78) is a reflection nebula located in the Orion constellation. M78 is the brightest diffuse reflection nebula in the sky. It has an apparent magnitude of 8.3 and lies at an approximate distance of 1,600 light years and next to it is the Barnard Loop.
