Description

The North America Nebula captured on a good night with an unmodified EOS 200d on a star adventurer.
The image shows nicely that it's possible to catch quite a lot of H-alpha even with a stock camera if you have a relatively dark sky and a long exposure time.
Even though there were some cirrus clouds present, the sky was darker than usual (~ bortle 4) in the second half of the night, so I also had a few very successful visual observations that night. The “Mexico”-part of NGC 7000 was easily observable with a wide-field eyepiece and an UHC-filter.
