Description

It's been miserably wet and wintery in Melbourne over recent weeks, so I have decided to download and processed some northern hemisphere data kindly shared by Jim Misti (http://www.mistisoftware.com/astronomy/). Not visible from my location, the M51 interating galaxies lie 23 million light years from Earth and are about 76% the size of the Milky Way.

Thanks for looking!.
