Description

Between fog coming from the ocean and cars constantly lighting up the fog with their headlights, I was able to take only 14 minutes of exposure before the fog covered everything. Obviously, transparency was terrible, but I still like the result.

My initial idea was to take pictures from some place on the shore, but everything closer to the ocean was completely covered by fog. Was interesting see how everything by the shore is completely covered by fog, while driving just 1 minute away can get you into a place with perfectly clear sky.

Rev B has better (much better) white balance and shows green atmospheric glow better.

California 1 highway, near Big Sur. 6Da + 15mm/2.8 wide open, ISO 6400, 14x1min.
