Description

This is not what I intended on imaging when I went outside. I intended on imaging the Rho Ophiuchi Complex in Scorpius. If that didn't work out then my second choice would be the Double Cluster in Perseus. After taking 10 or 12 test images Rho Ophiuchi using different combinations of exposure and iso settings I could tell that this would be a waste of time. I looked toward Cassiopeia to see if I could image the Double Cluster. Cassiopeia was not high enough in the sky yet. So rather than waste some clear sky time waiting for Cassiopeia to rise higher in the sky I decided to image the area around Sadr. This has kind of become my "go to" object when I can't think of anything else to image. This is the 4th or 5th time that I've tried to image the Rho Ophiuchi complex both with a scope and a camera lens. I've not yet been successful . With all of the said please enjoy my most recent image of Sadr and Vicinity.
