Description

Photographing the core of the Milky Way from a Bortle class 1 location at the northern side of Death Valley last week!

This is one of the darkest night sky locations in California! It was amazing how many stars I could see.

Captured with a Sony a7R III and Samyang f/2.0 135mm lens, along with an iOptron SkyGuider Pro to track the night sky.

24 x 30-seconds, f/2.0, ISO 3200.

20 x dark frames.

Stacked in Sequator and edited in Lightroom.
