Description

Steve and I are part way through completing another large mosaic in HST, with about 25% of the SII and OIII remaining to be collected in the next lunar cycle. We are aiming for 6 hours of data for each channel and each panel in this 3 x 2 mosaic. Testing the complete Ha data reminds me how beautiful an Ha mono image can be of this classic area of Cygnus.

The Ha data was nice and clean so only a light processing touch for this WIP mono image. This mosaic comprises 108 x 1200s Ha subs, giving 36 hrs of total integration. The final project if the weather is kind will comprise 324 x 1200s subs, 108 hours total integration.
