Description

Located in the sky in the constellation of Gemini, almost "touching" the star Propus (η Gem), and at a distance of about 5000 light years, is the object cataloged as IC 443, although it is also included in the Sharpless catalog as Sh2-248 and in Lynds as LBN 844, and known as the Medusa Nebula, as it recalls this primitive and simple, but dangerous, marine animal.

The Medusa Nebula is a supernova remnant.

This is my version with a hubble SHO palette and stars in RGB with a total of approximately 20 hours
