I got my rebuilt mount back - happy days!

Was mainly looking to test it out and bed the gears in, remember how everything works, get to grips with NINA, multi-star guiding and set up the new guidescope. Doing all that and getting decent narrowband data seemed a big ask but it worked. The mount is starting to run as sweet as a nut without any backlash and once everything is fully bedded in it's going to be awesome :-D

First night was about 5 hours of 10min Ha subs and I didn't have to throw out a single sub in processing

I added about 3 hours of OIII tonight before the clouds came rolling.

I need to recollect all my dark library properly with NINA, but I got some quick and dirty ones in order to do a quick looksee....

Update - 31 Jan

Dark library done and managed to get 3 houts of SII. Excellent guiding all evening despite gusty conditions. I find the colours in this mixed HaHSO to be more interesting than the harsher green in more usual SHO.

Description: Collected replacement OIII data on Tuesday night. No moon and better focus meant I could be a bit more aggressive in processing for the fainter nebulosity

Title: reprocessed in PI with NSG and x2 drizzle. SHO with HSO stars

Description: The existing image of this was paericular egregious but getting an image that didn't seem too harsh too a while until I managed to get some of the translucence I was after. I'm not 100% happy with it but it'll do for now!
Colour masks helped greatly in taming thing a bit.

Description: started from the stacks again and tried to get something that looked less like a bad paint-job.... BXT made an appearance and I tried to give the fainter blue nebulosity some transparency.
Both stars and nebulosity came from a starting SHO combination
