Description

M 63 is a beautiful and frequently photographed springtime galaxy. Characteristic features of M 63 are the flocculent spiral arms, a huge halo and very faint star streams. The star streams cannot be seen in my image because the atmospheric conditions and sky brightness were not favourable, but at least the halo can be seen to some extent.
