Description

NGC 1499 "California Nebula"
The Calfornia Nebula (NGC 1499) is an intense hydrogen emission nebula located in the constellation Perseus, 1,500 light years from Earth.  I used an Askar 103 APO (4-inch) refractor from my backyard.
