Description

This is the result of approx. 9h of LRGB images taken over a period of 4 nights from my balcony in Munich, Germany under Bortle 6/7 skies. Still learning a lot about post processing...

Update 2022-1-28: Added OIII data kindly provided by fellow BAT member and Astrobin unser https://www.astrobin.com/users/Cyg/ - check out the BAT (Big Amateur Telescope) here: https://www.astrobiscuit.com/the-big-amateur-telescope.

There is not a lot of OIII in M33 but it is definitely noticeable. I also completely reprocessed all the data I had so far and changed quite a few steps in my PI workflow.

Title: New processing with better stretching and no narrowband data

Description: Latest revision with a more harmonious stretch and without Ha and OIII. I used the fantastic new Pixinsight script "Generalised Hyperbolic Stretch" that gives very good control over all aspects of stretching linear images to a nonlinear state. I also found that leaving out Ha and OIII data leads to a (in my eyes) more "natural" look and color balance.
