Description

As excited I was about my previous image which was full of (positive) surprises, well, as frustrated I was when processing this "little" challenge. Maybe the fact that I got some data during the moon being up made the task much more difficult. The images were taken with the 2x Powermate setup at 1850mm-f/14. I looked up some recent images of M96 on Astrobin and see that I am not alone, there are not many that reveal the beauty of this "beast". I also think that the integration time with this particular setup was not long enough. All previous targets had more, and under better conditions. I still think though that it was another successful trial with the 2x Powermate. One more of the Messier catalog in my collection, there are still many out there that I did not target so far, but I hope that I can get them all together one day.
