Description

The iris Nebula is a dazzling reflection nebula located some 1,400 light-years away from Earth.  The beautiful blue color of this nebula color comes from the scattered light of its central star, which lies nestled in the abundant stars fields and clouds of dust and gas of the constellation Cepheus.

This is second of two images captured concurrently the same night using my dual scope rig.
