Sun Spots (20221231) – goodbye 2022!

Check out my seeing animation taken under ugly conditions.

The last Sun spot image of this year, 2022, half an hour before 2023 begins here, in Central Europe. The Seeing was horrible today and if that was not enough, lots of thin and also thicker clouds over the sky most of the time. I took 8 or 9 sessions over 4 hours with not a single one being satisfactory, almost 6,000 images ... most of which are useless.

I show this hard worked out result anyway, because it is the last one for this year and I really like to observe the development of busy active regions on the Sun's surface over a couple of days in a row.

Happy New Year 2023 – and lots of clear nights to all of you!
