Description

Fading comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) over the Swiss Alps. Not so bright as it was a couple of weeks before, but both ion and dust tails are still visible and span for several degrees.

Taken on 27 July 2020, 20:55-21:17 UT.

Sky: 90x10 s tracked exposures with a 50 mm lens @ f/1.8, Canon 6D, ISO 1600

Foreground: single 10 s exposure

Calibration, alignment and stacking in PixInsight, final adjustment and combination with foreground in Photoshop 2021.
