Description

Zambiadarkskies's citing from cloudynight:  "Here is some "running chicken nebula" data.  I only got 3 and a quarter hours on it, again very early cloud wrecked my plans.  I was going to shoot more on it and also shoot broadband stars, and I still might well do so.  As such I am not showing my processed image as it might well still be a work in progress.  Lets just say that with the 3.25 hours I was pretty happy with the detail.  39 x 5 minute subs on a 533MC pro with L-Ultimate filter, 120mm guide cam and 30mm scope, control by AA pro, AT80ED doublet on an AM5, pier mounted. "

I like the idea of Vostok1 to modify a regular RGB image to false HOO palette. 1. I processed image in Siril first (histogram stretching), 2. I cut RGB image into three mono images (R, G, B), thn mixed as HOO, finally made modified HOO palette: Ha-R, Ha 0.4+OIII 06 as G, OIII as B. 3. After dealing with brightness and contrast in Pos Free Photo Editor I removed halos and used blur filter to remove noise. May be it is not a perfect receipt (PI makes it more efficient), but it still works for me
