Description

This is my rendition of NGC 3199, also known as the Banana Nebula, in the constellation Carina.  The data was obtained from Adam Block's Horizons website and was taken by Mike Selby.  It's a MASSIVE amount of data....124 hours total exposure time of H, O, and S @900s and @1200s subs, for the narrowband and 3 hours of RGB for the stars.  I know that my first attempt at this object is not NEARLY as good as Mike's APOD winning image or Adam's rendition of this data in his tutorial, but for a first run, I kind of liked what I came up with.  It was very challenging to process, not only because of the massive amount of data, but the NB was binned 1x1 and the RGB was binned 2x2 and taken with 2 different scopes.  I tried to find a happy medium between Mike's and Adam's Processing.  Thanks again to Mike Selby, for the data, and Adam Block, for the processing workflow techniques!
Anyway, hope ya like it!
Tom
