Revision title: Additional Three Hours Of Integration

My meager 3:40 attempt at this beautiful reflection nebula M78. I absolutely plan to get more time on this target the next new moon cycle if weather permits. Actually, I didn’t plan to process any of this data, but I just had to take a peek. I like what I have so far, but there are a few errors and I really didn’t want to go back into the earlier stages of processing to repair them since this is just a work in progress image. On top of my Bortle 7 skies, M78 is located at the celestial equator and happens to rise just above a led streetlight in my front yard. The target quickly goes into the trees just after the meridian which makes all of Orion’s beautiful targets a piece by piece effort.
Imaged with my OSC camera with a uv/ir cut filter. Color calibrated with Pixinsight’s SPCC process.The power of Pixinsight and Russell Crowman’s Xterminator tools is mind blowing!

Cropped quite a bit to centralize on just M78. Next year, I plan to use my 102mm scope for a better detailed view.

Title: M78 Back To Full FOV

Description: Hi All,

A complete reprocess of my 6:52 of data (more data to come next year).

I really liked the last cropped process (2nd version) but since I had the fov and had a segment of Barnards Loop available, I wanted a process that included the partial “Loop” and some background dust.
In my level of lp, I need much more data!

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
