Description

Stephan's Quintet in the constellation Pegasus is a visual grouping of five galaxies of which four form the first compact galaxy group ever discovered. The group was discovered by Édouard Stephan in 1877 at Marseilles Observatory.

These images were all taken without guiding, since my guide camera is not working properly. But it does show the power of ProTrack! The FWHM is about 0.5 arc sec worse than comparable guided images for my set up, and the roundness similar, so this is a pretty impressive result for the software.

In the final version, I used Decon to improve the resolution and cut back on the final tweaks to the luminosity.
