Description

Van den Bergh - VDB152 - constellation Cepheus - is the bluish reflection nebula positioned at the end of the long dark nebula Barnard - B175. The nebula is about 1,400 LY away.

Also eponymously known as Wolf’s Cave - it appears more as something amphibious in a sea of Ha. The Loch Ness monster comes to mind - so maybe the Nessie Nebula.

There is also a planetary nebula near the image bottom known as Dengel-Hartl 5 (PK 111 + 11.1)
