Description

Messier 53, a nice, if visually a somewhat unremarkable, globular cluster.

Messier 53 is a ball of stars (globular cluster) located in the northern constellation Coma Berenices and lies at a distance of 58,000 light-years from Earth. Messier 53 contains over 100,000 stars and is thought to be 13 billion years old.

I was unable to use some of my most frequently utilized post-processing tricks, i.e., BlurXTerminator. No matter what settings I utilized the central cluster was scrambled with pixel-peeping. So....I just processed the old fashion way.

I was hoping to get more data. The last 2 nights I imaged were terrible and at least 6 hours were trashed.
