Description

WR134 is a superhot Wolf Rayet star located south of Sadr (Gamma Cygni) and the famous crescent nebulae. Its radiation is carving a shell into the interstellar media, and a beautiful shockfront of incandescent Oxygen mixes with the omnipresent Hydrogen in this region. These are rather weak nebulosities, and it needed some narrowband work to have them mixed prominent into this LRGB image. On the RGB frames only a trace of the shell could be seen. WR134 itself is the second from left in the little row of 4 brighter stars in the center. North is left.
