Description

The Dumbbell Nebula, M27, appears in the constellation Vulpecula (the "little fox") close to the central axis of the Milky Way. The Dumbbell Nebula is about 1200 light-years away and is a planetary nebula.

This is one of my first images ever taken. At the time all I had was an unmodded Canon t3i.
