Description

I believe I've captured part of the Coma Berenices cluster with is part of the Coma Cluster which with the Leo Cluster comprises the Coma Supercluster.  Our Milky Way is part of the Local Group with is part of the Virgo Supercluster.   The distance from earth to the Coma Cluster is ~323MLYs and contains 1000 galaxies, give or take, plus or minus 🤪 making it a "nearby" supercluster.  If you've read some of my comments on your deep wide images, you know I love being able to see what I cannot comprehend.  Maybe that's my attraction.  (oh and I appreciate PGC plate solving on these.)   I'll try to put the immensity of what we are able to capture and behold from our backyards in perspective.  The Milky Way is part of the Local Group (~16 MLYs wide) which is part of the Virgo Supercluster (~110MLYs wide), version B.  The Virgo Supercluster is part of the Laniakea Supercluster (Hawaiian for immense heaven) which is ~500MLYs wide, version C.  Can you spot the Coma Supercluster 😵‍💫   At night, when I'm out with the stars doing this avocation, well it's spiritual for me.  When I first stretch an image like this, I gasp out loud. What glory we can see!

bortle 7, SQM 18.5   I'm having trouble with backfocus when using my Lpro with the Hyperstar which is extremely sensitive.  Since the moon was rising late, I did not use a filter for light pollution.
