Description

This was the first light for my new (to me) RASA 11. The light gathering capabilities are very nice but it is a lot of work to get the camera arrangement right. I think I got it correctly now (With a Baader UFC adjustable spacer and a Neumann CTU). Unfortunatly I have differential flexure problems, oblong stars even in 60s images (at first I thought it was a tracking problem). My new Mesu 200 is unfortunately already back to the manufacturer because of a mechanical problem.

Abell 426 is a galaxy cluster in Perseus. When reading up on it, I found that it is a very interesting object, especially for X-ray and radioastronomy. I think for the visible spectrum it needs more integration time to really shine. Still, I really like all those background galaxies in this image. I think they outnumber the foreground stars.
