Description

Messier 94 is a spiral galaxy in the mid-northern constellation Canes Venatici. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781, and catalogued by Charles Messier two days later. Although some references describe M94 as a barred spiral galaxy, the "bar" structure appears to be more oval-shaped.

Three nights imaging, many more nights processing! The second night I tossed about a third of the subs due to passing high clouds that I didn't notice until blinking in PI. I am currently using a filter drawer system with two separate drawers. I think one of them ever so slightly tilts the filter giving me slightly out of focus stars at the edge of the image on one side. I have identified which drawer it is and am back to swapping filters in a single drawer. 7 position 2" filter wheel is looking like my next purchase.

Feel free to pixel-peep, it still looks good to me at 100%. This camera and scope work well together.
