Description

Lucky image of a meteor in a single sub captured by a Vaonis ST80 on 2023-08-18T09:25:32 UTC. RA 20h 25m 10.869s, Dec +42° 18’ 48.679”, exp 10s, gain 20db, pixel size 2.4μm, focal length 400mm, native field of view, Bayer pattern RGGB. Used WBPP to stack 150 lights (of 1,135 captured) and 100 darks to create a star mask. Used subs with an eccentricity less than or equal to 0.4199 for the stack. I did this because the stars in the single fits file that captured the meteor had very poor star shape. I edited the starmask with PixInsight. I debayered and edited the fits file that captured the meteor using PixInsight and Photoshop.
