Description

IC 348 is an open star cluster with a surrounding reflection nebula.
The object is located at a distance of approx. 1000 light years in the constellation Perseus directly next to the star Atik, 38 Omikron Per.
The star-forming region is approx. 2 million years young and many of the young stars have circumstellar dust disks.

In order to mask the image field rotation of Seestar, I have applied a flat field correction in this image using a synthetically generated image.
The image shows the full field of the sensor and you can see the missing exposure time at the edges.
