Description

Yes, thank goodness, a fairly bright comet I could process from our list of Fall 2022 comets.  Sadly I was forced to image  with a full frame MONO camera since this RASA11 was the only scope facing the south easterly direction, where the comet lay ( I traditionally use this scope for sky surveying looking for space junk).

So this image covers a large 2.5 deg by 1.75 degrees.  C/2022 P1 was at it's closest to earth a day or two later at around 0.9AU and is actually quite large.  Yep, no appreciable dust tail however a keen eye might discern the hints of a nuclear spike.
