Description

An LRGB image of the nucleus of The Andromeda Galaxy made with the biggest scope available at the Roboscopes remote observatory.
It's a 43cm f/6,8 Dall Kirkham PlaneWave CDK17 astrograph.
The exposure time of the individual subs is only 30 seconds to avoid saturation in the nucleair region of M31.
The camera is a FLI Kepler4040 CMOS sensor which is much better than a conventional CCD camera.
It has a much higher sensivity and a lower internal noise compared to the CCD.
LRGB = 180:235:230:163 minutes.
