Description

Horsehead and Flame Nebulae

The Horsehead Nebula (Bernard 33) and tan colored NGC 2024 or "Flame Nebula" are[b] [/b]adjacent to the most eastern star in Orion's belt -- Zeta Orion orrionis, aka: Alnitak.  This is a joint collaboration of James Foster of Frazier Park California and Michael Stecker of Los Angeles. A Sky-Watcher 250P, 10-inch f/4 Newtonian, telescope was used at Frazier Park.
