After looking into remote hosting for quite some time, I was fortunate enough to be able to acquire an amazing imaging setup hosted at E-Eye in Spain. With the change to remote, I'm happy that I'm able to decouple myself from my telescope & provide it much better conditions than I would ever be able to provide it at home. Finally, I'm also incredibly excited to be able to share the wonders of our night sky with all of you!
This is my first light with this setup, showcasing a small part of the beautiful Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex. Throughout acquisition of this image, I was incredibly happy with both the performance of the imaging setup as a whole, as well as the quality of the skies at E-Eye. Throughout processing, I tried to bring out as much dust detail as I could while still keeping the contrast between M4 & Sh2-9 as the main focus. Hopefully this image is able to convey the true nature of the region to you.
Overall, I can't wait to show off more wonders of our night sky with all of you over the coming months & years!! Look out for many more images coming in the future. And, as always, any & all feedback is always appreciated.
