Description

Sh2-240, often called Spaghetti Nebula or also The Skull (no idea why) - in a combination of two different telescopes of two different locations and cameras. The one part comes from a Takahashi FSQ 106ED of Telescope.Live in Spain the other part from my Esprit in my garden in LowerAustria.
Both imaged with Ha, OIII and SII filters - the Tak with a FLI-PL16083, the Esprit with a ASI 1600M camera.
All subs have been processed separately, the wavelengths separately, then the stars split off and the starless images combined in Pixinsight, optimized in Affinity Photo and recombined with the separately processed star images in Photoshop. Quite a lot of work, but also a lot of interesting stuff and finally a quite interesting result - rendering as obvious in the Hubble palette.
