Description

Here is a SHO rendition of the Ha version I recently posted on Ced 214 (Sh2-171) - a fascinating emission nebula located in the constellation Cephus, around 2,740 light-years from Earth.   The nebula is part of NGC7822, a young star-forming complex, similar to the famous Pillars of Creation.  There is also the open cluster NGC7762.  The OIII and SII signals are weak in this region vs. Ha which is very intense.  I tried to compensate a bit for this by taking more OIII and SII exposures.
