Description

Some new debut objects (different types of galaxies) here on AstroBin: NGC 5861, NGC 5858 and NGC 5872 and others:

- NGC 5861 is an intermediate spiral galaxy. Two supernovae have been observed in it.
There is a great Hubble image of this galaxy.
"Hubble Views Galaxy Host to 2 Supernovae" (https://www.nasa.gov/image-feature/goddard/2020/hubble-views-galaxy-host-to-2-supernovae)
I love the special shape of NGC 5861. It looks like a fish (a symbol used by us believing Christians - suitable for Easter).

- NGC 5858 is an elliptical galaxy.

- NGC 5872  is a lenticular galaxy.

- IC 1091 is a barred spiral galaxy.

- PGC 54103 is a spiral galaxy. It seems to be classed as "Sc", but I think it looks more like a "SBa" galaxy.

- and other interesting galaxies

(In these nights I cooled the camera down to an average of about -15 °C / 5 °F.)

Please take a look at the widefield image ("Original"), too.

Wishing you a blessed Easter!
