Description

It is not the most emblematic lunar crater, but four days after the first quarter, it appears magnified because of its proximity to the terminator that accentuates the play of shadows and lights.

It is actually a 156 km walled plain dotted with small craters and a very rugged arena.

It is bordered to the south by the cold sea (Mare Frigoris) and to the north by the craters Pythagoras and Anaximender still plunged for a few hours in the lunar darkness.

This is my first lunar image at C11.
