Description

My first attempt at 'dual rig' imaging - widefield of Vulpecula using AA183c Hypercam and 75mm SLR lens, and this image of M27 star field using my Meade DSI3 Pro mono camera and Zenithstar 80II ED semi-Apo - on my homemade mount attached to an old LX6 fork drive.

I collected around an hour of data (15s exposures unguided) with the DSI 3 Pro using Nebulosity image capture, pre-processed using ASTAP (best 38' subs) with minimal processing in Startools. (The widefield image was captured using 60s exposures in APT).

I was happy with the calibration and managed to remove most of the light gradients. Focus was reasonable using a homemade Bahtinov mask. I may try and add some broadband colour to this - forecast clear and semi-dark on Friday/Saturday... hopefully.
